lyrics
Apple in the window withering
Plant in the shade it goes unseen
And then I trace the walls
My fingertips and all
Dried fruit peels
And spider bites are lingering
Lightning bugs going up unlit
And then I deck the halls
With cobwebs and moth balls
Cracked granite
And termites rot the wood
Foundation is sapped of
Support beams
I only see you in October
When the leaves are blowing
Holding a dustpan
Filled with dog hair
As I wear your sweater
We’re only happy when it’s raining
And under dressed for the weather
Window panes see through us so clearly
The walls won’t stay together
And looking backwards now
I can see it all broke dishes
And water’s leaking in
All over our bedding
I’m leaving
Bob-Dylanish at times, this release is a great display of how you can confidently channel your creative energy. No rush, no anxiety. Bravo bravo
Kinda bummed that I don't have an access to those cassette release 3 songs from the b side after download. but never mind, these 3 songs are so good. I would have ordered no doubt but not sure this can be delivered to my part of the world
